Balou du Rouet's offspring doubled anew their lifetime competition winnings to 267000 Euro in the 2011 season as a result of his first crop of foals moving up at the age of 8 to compete successfully in advanced show jumping classes, 35 sons are meanwhile licensed. So, Baloubetta du Soleil won already internationally in Rotterdam, the licensed stallion Horse Gym's Balzaci has won eight times in advanced (S) class and placed first with Felix Haßmann in international competitions like Leipzig. PBM Best of Balou FBW won at Wiener Neustadt in 2011. Furthermore, Balou's foals were very eligible in 2011: Buenos Aires was sold at the Zangersheide foal auction for 32000 Euro and was therewith the most expensive foal on the second day of auction. Bakony, sold for 23500 Euro, was the most expensive jumper foal at the Hanoverian elite foal auction. At the OS-International stallion licensing, a premium stallion is descended from Balou du Rouet, a Balou grandson by Burberry was licensed ! and there were four Balou offspring in the final of the five and six year-old show jumpers in Warendorf. Such a success is not a miracle, if you have a look at his pedigree. His sire Baloubet du Rouet, three-time World Cup winner and Olympic individual winner, leaves no doubt due to an armada of international sport horses.
